Team Kia Auto Club Pilipinas Racing dominated the Lake Front Slalom Time Attack in September 14, 2014 at Sucat Parañaque. Ralph De Villa and Angelo Sison both secured podium finishes in their respective Kia Rio Race Cars outlasting faster Japanese Race Cars and Sports Cars like Race Spec Corollas and Lancers, Civic SiRs, Toyota MR2s, Lancer Evolution III and a Subaru Impreza WRX STi. While Emmanuel Madlangbayan and Jahan Kalam surprised everybody with the racing capabilities of full stock Kias. Mr. Madlangbayan in his 2013 Rio and Jahan Kalam in his Kia Carens. Only Polo Bautista of 360 Autoworks was able to outlast the Kia Rios in his full Race Spec Honda Civic EG 6 powered by a B16A motor @ 25.9 seconds.
Ralph De Villa took the 2nd place @ 28.84 seconds, while Pinoy Loves Wheels Editor, Gelo Sison, took the 3rd place @ 28.88 seconds. It was a very close battle between the two fastest Kia Rios in the Philippines.
The Lake Front Slalom Time Attack was presented by Red Bull Energy Drink and Aguila Auto Glass.
